Letter from Hallmark Channel’s American Rescue Dog Show

Posted by admin on January 25th, 2019

Dear friends of Adopt-a-Pet.com,

We are the Executive Producers of Hallmark Channel’s American Rescue Dog Show and wanted to personally reach out to you as fellow animal lovers.

We created the American Rescue Dog Show to celebrate the amazing personalities of dogs who were once unwanted and are now loved family members. The format is similar to a fancy dog show however on the American Rescue Dog Show, we aren’t judging on bloodlines or conformation.  We are celebrating these amazing dogs in categories of cuteness such as “Best in Couch Potato,” “Best in Wiggle Butt,” “Best in Belly Rubs, ” “Best in Snoring,” “Best in Senior Dog,” “Best in Special Needs,” “Best in Talking,” “Best in Smiling,” “Best in Underbite,” and “Best in Short ’N Sweet.”  The purpose of the show is to show the entire country just how amazing rescues are and inspire viewers to adopt their next dog.  And we are thrilled to partner with Adopt-A-Pet.com on it!

Thanks to the kind folks at the Hallmark Channel, we get to share this message across the nation on primetime TV.  Last year’s broadcast actually beat Westminster Dog Show in the ratings!   This year, the American Rescue Dog Show  will air over two nights on Sun, February 17th and Monday February 18th  8/7c  (check your local cable provider as some markets air earlier in the evening).  It is our hope that as fellow rescuers and animal advocates, you will tune in and tell all your friends and family to watch as well.  In success with great ratings, it means this show will be on the air for many years to come and continue to be an important platform to spread the word about rescue to a national audience.  Your support in tuning in and helping to spread the word is deeply appreciated.
