Create a free, beautiful website for your organization
We’re so excited to be able to bring you a brand new feature: Professional Animal Welfare Sites (PAWsites)! You can now create a beautiful website for your shelter or rescue, and Adopt-a-Pet.com will host it for you – all for free and it always will be! It’s easy enough that anyone can build a great website, no matter what your level of experience with technology or design. Choose which features you want to use, including: Customizable Online Adoption Application, Events Calendar, Paypal-Compatible Donation Page and an automatically updating Pet List. You can change your colors and fonts, use graphics from our photo library or upload your own, and customize the look of your homepage using a slideshow and other modules. All PAWsites have a mobile-friendly design, so your visitors have a great experience, no matter if they visit your site from a desktop computer, a tablet, or their mobile phone. Plus choose your own Custom URL for your PAWsite like www.adoptapet.com /yournamehere. See how easy it is to started with your own PAWsite at

A new look for our monthly What’s New email
It was finally time to say goodbye to the retro text style of our “What’s New” email that all Adopt-a-Pet.com shelter and rescue account publicists receive from us each month. Don’t worry, we’re still going to be bringing only the most important Adopt-a-Pet.com shelter and rescue admin news, it will be a lot nicer to look at, and easier to read on your phones too! If you have feedback about the new look or anything else, Laurie and Jennifer are always here for you at helpdesk@adoptapet.com – we’re here to help you get your pets adopted!

Found Animals Saving Pets Challenge 2015
Found Animals is once again partnering with CrowdRise for the Saving Pets Challenge 2015. In 2014, organizations like yours raised over $1 Million for companion animals. This year, Found Animals is awarding over $90,000 in cash grant prizes to the top 5 fundraisers, an additional $25,000 in weekly ‘Bonus Challenges’, and tons of amazing non cash prizes and incentives for organizations and donors alike. The Challenge is now accepting applications from US based municipal shelters and 501(c)(3) registered animal welfare groups. Fundraising begins Monday, May 4, 2015 and runs through Friday, June 5, 2015. Sign up now at crowdrise.com/SavingPetsChallenge. You can’t win if you don’t play!
