Veterinarian Reference Letter

Posted by Jennifer on June 21st, 2013

We are happy to offer to legitimate animal shelters, humane societies, SPCAs and animal rescue organizations as a free service. You are all heroes for homeless companion animals!

As part of our new account approval process, we may ask you for a letter from your veterinarian verifying that you are indeed a legitimate shelter or rescue and that all your of-age pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. To make this easier for you and your vet, you are welcome to ask them to answer the following four questions, written or printed on your vet’s official letterhead:

1. Shelter/Rescue Name:

2. Shelter/Rescue Representative’s Name:

3. Approximate number of animals we have examined or treated for this Shelter/Rescue within the last year:

4. To the best of our knowledge, all of-age animals adopted through this shelter/rescue are spayed and neutered.

Please have your vet print or write the letter on their official letterhead, and fax to 818-561-3991.

If you have questions, please email us at

Thanks again for everything you do to save lives!
