NOTICE: Planned website downtime #2

Adopt-a-Pet.com has scheduled some planned downtime to allow for our engineers to do some required maintenance. You will not be able to use Adopt-a-Pet.com during this planned downtime. The downtime is planned for Tuesday, November 27 from  1am to 3am Eastern time — so that’s  10pm – 12am Pacific time November 26 for west coasts folks. A Message From our Friends at Purina…

Purina Provides Aid To Pets Affected By Natural Disaster

Hurricane Michael was recorded as one of the strongest hurricanes to ever hit the U.S. Our friends at Purina saw the need and made great efforts to support those impacted by this natural disaster. Purina worked with Rescue Bank of GreaterGood.org to distribute 25,000 pounds of pet food and cat litter to organizations assisting with emergency response efforts for pets in affected areas and their aid has provided nearly $50,000 in donations. Thank you to Purina for lending a helping hand.

A Message From our Friends at Petcoach…

Adopters ask the strangest things

Just when you think you’ve heard it all, an adopter will ask a sincere question that you’ve never heard before! Like… Do cats need to wear clothes in cold weather? Rather than taking the time to figure out what to reply to that one, we made it easy for you: Just send them this link: Do Cats Need Sweaters?

A Message From our Friends at Bayer…

How does weather affect fleas and ticks?

If you’ve been hoping the weather could help solve your flea and tick problems, there’s disappointing news. It takes more than a passing freeze to knock these sneaky blood feeders down. But how do weather changes affect the flea and tick population? Learn more here.
