Pet page design upgrade coming soon!
More exciting news! You may recall a few months ago we announce that our designers and engineers have been hard at work on improvements to our website’s design and technology. A big and exciting project! We are continuing to gradually roll out the updates, and the next page to get an upgrade is your pet pages – sneak peek in the screenshot above and below! At first glance, you might not notice the changes, as most of them are behind the scenes. Some of the really awesome upgrades is the fonts are bigger, making it easier for people to read what you’ve written about your pets! On Friday, Sept 1st the new design will be visible to a small portion of our site visitors. Once we gather information and make any needed refinements, we’ll make the improved version of the pet pages available to everyone. The new pet page design, just like the new shelter search results and shelter info pages that rolled out earlier this year, will be faster and easier to use on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices too.
See the checkmarks and exclamation points above? That’s one of the “biggest” small but helpful changes to the page design! Now those easy-to-understand graphic bullet points replace the “good with” or “not” text to better highlight those pet details. These were previously formatted in a sentence. Your behind the scenes options remain the same yes, no, or blank aka unknown that you’ve been using all along. If you have any questions or feedback, let us know at helpdesk@adoptapet.com.
