CAA-grant

New 2015 grant recipient

Congratulations to grant recipient Companion Animal Alliance of Baton Rouge, Louisiana! Their grant application calls attention to a whopping 28% of their adult dog intake being heartworm positive, which sadly prevents great pets like Buddy, Brody, Astro, and Azalea (all pictured here) from finding the loving forever homes they deserve. The $2,000 grant they’ll receive from Adopt-a-Pet.com’s Veterinary Care Fund will allow them to treat 30 dogs with Advantage Multi® for Dogs (imidacloprid + moxidectin), which prevents heartworm disease and treats circulating microfilaria!

Advantage Multi® for Dogs also kills fleas and treats and controls whipworms, roundworms and hookworms.

CAUTION: Federal (U.S.A.) law restricts Advantage Multi® for Dogs (imidacloprid + moxidectin) to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. WARNING: DO NOT ADMINISTER THIS PRODUCT ORALLY. For the first 30 minutes after application ensure that dogs cannot lick the product from application sites on themselves or other treated animals. Children should not come in contact with the application sites for two (2) hours after application. (See Contraindications, Warnings, Human Warnings, and Adverse Reactions, for more Information.) Product label.
