Veterinary Care Fund grants deadline December 1
This month is your last chance to apply for a grant from the $12,000 Veterinary Care Fund in 2014. We will notify all grant recipients by December 12! If you already applied for a Veterinary Care Fund grant in 2014, you do NOT need to reapply this month to be eligible for the remaining grant funds, though you do need to continue to keep your Adopt-a-Pet.com Pet List active in November and December. If you haven’t applied yet, here’s how:

Blog pick: Renting with pets
We created a blog article with helpful tips that you can use when the public contacts you about difficulties renting with pets. You can also use this article for educating prospective adopters who rent, especially those interested breeds and sizes of pets that are more likely to face landlord restrictions. Let us know if you have any other tips we should add, too!

Featured feature: Link to your pet listings
Here’s a super easy way to get your audience right to your pet listings: use one of your unique pet listing links! You can use any of your unique links to your pet listings anywhere you’d use a link, like in a news story, an email, or social media – like in a Facebook post or tweet – to bring potential adopters right to all your pets, or just your dogs, cats, or other species. There’s a direct link to your adopted pets too, if you use that feature. Login to see your list of direct links here: http://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/listing_links
