2014 Veterinary Care Fund grant program

Posted by Jennifer on June 16th, 2014

In 2014, the Adopt-a-Pet.com Veterinary Care Fund is giving away $10,000 in grants! Grants are to help pets in shelters and rescues get the veterinary care they need to go from homeless to adopted. Thank you to compassionate donors and our pet-loving sponsors for their part in making these grants possible.

How does the Adopt-a-Pet.com Veterinary Care Fund help homeless pets? The Adopt-a-Pet.com Veterinary Care fund provides grants that help shelter and rescue pets get the veterinary care they need to go from sick, hurt, and homeless to happy, healthy and adopted! See the wonderful stories, photos, and videos in the grant applications and before-and-after updates from Adopt-a-Pet.com shelters and rescues. In 2013, we gave away $10,000 in grants to 10 organizations. In 2012, thanks to compassionate fans who “liked” the Adopt-a-Pet.com Facebook page, $20,000 was added to our Veterinary Care Fund for 20 $1,000 grants for Adopt-a-Pet.com shelters and rescues to offset their veterinary costs and save more homeless pets’ lives. The Adopt-a-Pet.com Veterinary Care Fund was established in 2011 with an initial donation of $50,000 from Purina Veterinary Diets® which was given out in 25 grants to shelters and rescues in 2011. ..
