2016 Adopt-a-Pet.com flea and tick product grants

In 2016 we were so excited to announce this new grant program! Animal shelters and rescue organizations applied to receive a grant of Advantage® II for cats and/or K9 Advantix® II for dogs for use on pets in their care. (K9 Advantix® II is for use on dogs only.) The application deadline was May 31, 2016. These grants were made possible thanks to pet owners across the country who participated in Bayer’s Share for Shelters campaign. Through pet owners’ photo submissions, the campaign gave $20,000 worth of Bayer flea and tick products to help Adopt-a-Pet.com shelters and rescues. 10 grants were awarded!

In 2015, the Adopt-a-Pet.com Veterinary Care Fund gave away grants of up to $2,000 each! These grants help pets in shelters and rescues get the veterinary care they need to go from homeless to adopted. The 2015 Adopt-a-Pet.com Veterinary Care Fund is now closed. Thank you for to all the shelters and rescues for their wonderful applications and all they do helping homeless pets!
